The green mile book review. Not only does he seem to have a diminished mental capacity, but. What many people don’t realize is that it was actually published as a serial. Though all of his work i’ve read so far contain some horror elements, not all of them could.

It was also my favourite. When i decided to read the green mile, i was absolutely, positively 100% sure it would never measure up to the movie, and was i ever wrong. Most people think of stephen strictly as a horror writer, which is simply not true.

In 1932 the newest resident on death row is john coffey, a giant of a black man convicted of the brutal murder of two little girls. It is a story narrated years later by paul edgecomb, the ward. I did not read this book in the original serialized aspect.

The green mile is the nickname of the long corridor that death row inmates walk before meeting their fate at the electric chair. 'the green mile' is aptly named. The green mile short summary.

I’m going to begin this review on a positive note and say stephen king’s the green mile is an incredible book. Many people would not spring for a book about criminals on death row and the story told. The green mile was one of king’s books i didn’t very much care for.

So, stephen king had no idea how this story was going to end when he started it. I was missing this chapter.

Instead, i read this not too many years ago as the one book. He’s so incredible that it’s natural for him to write stories that are plausible and unimaginable at the same time. The green mile by stephen king was a very interesting book.
